The 2,209 votes in favor of bringing the conflict to an end, against only 82 dissenting votes, represent a crucial step towards a deep transformation that is needed by the University of Puerto Rico (UPR, Spanish acronym). The Island should be grateful for this master class taught by the students, celebrating their willingness to have an open, strong and peaceful university.
