The executive director of the Public-Private Partnerships Authority (P3A), Fermín Fontanés, indicated that the bidding processes in the agency were awarded, until now, under Law 29 of 2009 (Public-Private Partnerships Law) and these contracts “have included as a requirement the evaluation of the financial aspects of the parent companies”. The Public-Private Partnerships Authority (P3A) will evaluate the recent Supreme Court decision detailing how to evaluate a company’s finances - and parent companies - when signing a contract or awarding an auction or bidding process.
