As part of the first phase of expansion, SNC Technical Services invested some $2.5 million in private capital for the expansion of plant four, in Camuy, where they will provide more modern work and recreational spaces for the well-being of their employees, with which they expect to add 150 workers. With more than 14,000 workers in Puerto Rico’s textile industry and some 10 manufacturing companies, which produce mainly military uniforms and equipment, this industrial segment remains in force and evolving, according to Humberto Zacapa, chief executive officer (CEO) of SNC Technial Services.
