The Puerto Rican Telecommunications Alliance (APT, for its Spanish acronym), which includes 14 companies of this very industry, advised yesterday that it would call for the government to remove the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) subsidiary, PrepaNet (also known as OnNet), from the market, due to unfair competition and the negative effect that this business could have on the country's economy.
