Over the last decade, Dominican Republic cinema has perfected the genre of the screwball comedy with great production value. “El Heredero,” the new Caribbean Films feature film arriving in Puerto Rico theaters this week, is representative of this, but is one of the first to stumble by trying to use the same ‘formula’ on autopilot.
