Jean Martínez Rodríguez accompanies eight students in a full-time Special Education classroom on a daily basis, helps them with their academic tasks in the classroom and is with them if they need to go out. For almost two decades, she has worked as a student services assistant and, although the tasks and complexity of her day-to-day work have increased, the salary has remained the same.
