Washington D.C. - More than 40 members of Congress have called on the U.S. Department of Justice “to redress this historic error by unequivocally rejecting the discriminatory and racist doctrine of territorial incorporation established by the Insular Cases” and promote an end to the colonial status of U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico.
