As soon as today, the Congressional leadership may release the spending bill to complete the allocation of funds for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, which began on October 1, and would total approximately $1.7 trillion. (Shutterstock)

Washington - Congress begins this week expecting to pass -almost on Christmas Eve- the budget for this federal fiscal year, which could decide the funding of the Medicaid program for Puerto Rico for five years and the response to recent natural disasters such as Hurricane Fiona.
