Zero cash or anonymous donations, ordering that an official from the Office of the Electoral Comptroller be at every political event, replacing the officials in charge of purchases or of awarding auctions in all agencies, and prohibiting agency leaders and certain public employees from taking part in fundraising activities. These are some of the proposals to battle corruption and the misuse of political expenditures, as presented by David Bernier, gubernatorial candidate for the Popular Democratic Party (PDP).
