The priorities of Lieutenant General Jeffrey S. Buchanan –in command of military operations in Puerto Rico after the passage of Hurricane Maria- will be to hasten the delivery of supplies, especially in isolated or inaccessible areas; mobilize a large medical team, and assist in the delivery of diesel to hospitals.
