Washington D.C. - As the summer legislative calendar is closing, the chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Public Lands, Forestry and Mining subcommittee, Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto (Nevada), keeps on her agenda to convene a public hearing on the two bills that seek to regulate a binding plebiscite for the federal government on Puerto Rico’s political future.
