Washington D.C. - The president of the Colegio de Médicos Cirujanos de Puerto Rico, Carlos Díaz Vélez, has urged the recently confirmed U.S. Secretary of Health, Robert Kennedy, Jr., to take a fresh look at the Puerto Rican health system, which he describes as a “health apartheid” impacted by natural disasters and the “greed and concentration of power of the insurance companies.”
