The Oversight Board is expected to ask U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain today to confirm the plan that would restructure some $33 billion in central government obligations while indicating that the government has no reason to oppose - at the last minute - the changes made to the Plan of Adjustment (POA) after eliminating cuts to current pensions.
