The draft Natural Resources Plan, tied to the management of thermoelectric power plants, contemplates deadlines that have already been missed

The delay in the transition to clean energy sources will require the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER) to review the guidelines established in the draft plan - required by the federal government - to address the two areas where Puerto Rico does not comply with air quality standards for sulfur dioxide: the San Juan and Guayama-Salinas air basins.
