Some of the country’s political leaders want to cooperate while others condemn the new federal entity

Yesterday, the Oversight Board (OB) officially took the reins of the country’s public finances and immediately generated a vast array of reactions within the Island’s political class. They ranged from comments in the fiercest combative spirit to calls on Alejandro García Padilla’s administration to encourage a collaborative climate that won’t hinder the work of the new federally imposed entity.
