Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) confirmed yesterday that Puerto Rico’s renewable energy potential “significantly exceeds the current and projected total annual loads through 2050″ and warned that rushing to invest in infrastructure without long-term planning could lead “to significant stranded assets”.
