In his letter to members of Congress, economist Fuentes Ramírez says that the health care system stands "on the brink of collapse," schools lack resources "in an economy where six out of 10 children live in poverty, and many other public institutions face challenges that hinder our collective progress. C. - The influence of the most conservative members of the Fiscal Oversight Board leads the entity to a biased approach in areas such as workers’ rights, the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) budget, and the future of pensions, according to the entity´s former economist, Ricardo Fuentes Ramírez.
