The imminent loss of $45.2 million in federal funds allocated to the Department of Health in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the need for the state government to identify items that will help make up for the shortfall, an issue that the executive director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Orlando Rivera, said Wednesday that he is already working on, in view of the next fiscal year.
