Betzaida Gómez, who is part of the campaign, said that thanks to the fact that she is still alive she has been able to "share with my family, who I thought I would never see again, witness the birth of nephews and nieces, and I have had the opportunity to write two books". (Suministrada)

It was November 18, 2021, and Betzaida Gómez was on the verge of death when a phone call brought her back to life. A liver donor had come forward. Two years earlier, a diagnosis of non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis had turned the clock against her, and only a transplant could stop it.
