Washington D.C. – Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner in Washington, Jenniffer González, advocated Wednesday before the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture for a process that would allow Puerto Rico to begin the transition from the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a decision that the congressional leadership has decided to postpone until 2024.
