The public policy of cuts and layoffs of federal employees that President Donald Trump is promoting may have a disproportionate negative impact on Puerto Rico, including reconstruction, which should require the island’s authorities to begin developing strategies to mitigate the economic damage, warned an analysis by the Center for a New Economy (CNE).
