prima:LUMA and PREPA seek to recover $105.5 million spent due to fuel price hike

Executives of LUMA Energy and the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) said Monday, before the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (NEPR) that, between December 2021 and February 2022, they spent $105.5 million more in fuel purchases than had been projected, thus justifying a request for an increase in the electricity rate.
