Starting in fiscal year 2024, the Municipality of Comerío could be left only with the mayor services, 15 employees for garbage collection, and, perhaps, another part-time employee to manage the finances if the plan to eliminate the Equalization Fund -funds allocated to municipalities by the Municipal Revenue Collection Center (CRIM) remittances- continues.
