PREPA to activate another unit in Palo Seco by end of January

The public corporation expects to accelerate energization in the metropolitan area after the hurricane

Now that the repair of Unit #3 of the Palo Seco plant is completed, the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) informed yesterday that Unit # 1 of that plant will go into operation by the end of this month, which will help to accelerate the energization of sectors of the metropolitan area that have no power since the passage of Hurricane Maria.
