Washington D.C. - Speaker Mike Johnson is looking for votes to ensure passage in the House of Representatives, if possible this Tuesday, of the resolution that would largely extend the current budget through the end of this fiscal year, September 30, and avoid a partial government shutdown at midnight on Friday.
