The Guánica Dry Forest -recognized as an International Biosphere Reserve- is the habitat of a new species of wasp recently discovered by a group of scientists, a finding that, according to experts consulted, confirms the value and the need to continue collaborations with sampling and monitoring programs that allow the collection of data on the changes that this and other ecosystems in Puerto Rico are experiencing.
