Although they can cause harm to humans, the biggest problem of the large snakes sighted in recent days in towns like Aguas Buenas, Bayamón, Guaynabo and Cidra, among others, is their impact on Puerto Rico’s endemic species, warned herpetologist (reptile expert) Adolfo Rodríguez Velázquez.
