Diesel and natural gas reserves for energy production on the island are suffering the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war, to the point that the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) is working on a formal request to the U.S. government to authorize the import of fuel in non-U.S.-flagged vessels, confirmed the public corporation’s executive director, Josué Colón.
