Fajardo - With the transfer of half of the beaches formerly managed by the National Parks Company to municipal governments, the infrastructure and safety conditions at these beaches have improved—a development that, nonetheless, is progressing slowly at the facilities still overseen by the agency, which now operates as a program within the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA).
