The debate has mainly focused on whether students should use artificial intelligence services to do their work, whether it is ethical, or whether it can be considered plagiarism (Shutterstock)

It does not matter if they take in-person or online classes, students at the Ana G. Méndez University (UAGM) do not hand in their work on paper, they must use one of the two platforms approved by the institution, which detect plagiarism and one of those platforms can even identify if any artificial intelligence tool was used to complete the assignment.
