Pérez Heredia argued that the answers to the tax “loopholes” in Puerto Rico cannot be based on congressional proposals “that promote discrimination and unfair treatment of Americans in the United States.” (Facebook)

Washington D.C. - The Mayor of Utuado, Jorge Pérez Heredia, has retracted the letter he sent to Congressional leaders requesting to only exempt Puerto Ricans from paying federal income taxes in Puerto Rico.
