A lawyer representing the General Obligation (GO) bondholders of Puerto Rico sent a letter to Javier D. Ferrer, principal legal advisor to Popular Inc., notifying the bank that his clients reserve the right to invoke the necessary remedies if the financial institution incurs in any action deviating from what the constitution stipulates for the payment of the public debt.
