During more than 40 years of university teaching, work and study trips, collaboration with international organizations such as, among many others, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Organization of American States (OAS), in journeys that have led him to attend to and see first-hand the problems of 43 countries, sociologist Manuel Torres Márquez has not stopped thinking for a moment about his first love: Puerto Rico.
