On Monday, Politico published a draft of an opinion with the majority support of the Supreme Court that would strike down the right to abortion at the federal level, protected by the decision of Roe v. Wade, dating from 1973. (The Associated Press)

The possibility of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the right to abortion, a procedure that seems more latent today after the leak of a draft that reflects what could be the position of the majority of the justices of the highest federal court, would not affect the current law on the termination of pregnancies on the island, according to experts El Nuevo Día interviewed yesterday.
