prima:Harsh criticism for Legislative Assembly management in the final stretch of the session: “It will go down in history as one of the most inconsequential legislatures”

On the last day to approve, 30 pieces of legislation were defeated in the House amid controversy, and the Senate passed nearly a hundred pieces of legislation

June 27, 2024 - 11:04 AM

Tuesday was the last day for passage of measures in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. In the remaining days of session - until June 30 - the Legislature cannot go over any bill if it has not been approved by both chambers in a final vote. (Ramon "Tonito" Zayas)
